Responding to today’s NHS statistics for November, Director of Smart Brexit, Kyle Taylor said:
"Just seventy eight days before Brexit negotiations begin it’s clear from today’s statistics that the government need to guarantee full funding for the NHS as part of their Brexit plan. Money will be returning to the Treasury once we leave the EU and this should be transferred directly into the NHS bank account so we can reduce waiting lists and free up A&E departments. The data shows that for the same period the previous year over 300,000 more people are having to wait 18 weeks for treatment after referral from their doctor - that’s a human cost our country should not be willing to pay."
